A section of youth from Kenyan Universities today held peaceful demonstrations demanding that President Uhuru Kenyatta issue an apology over claims that youth leaders are corrupt.

The youths who matched from Jivanjee all the way to Harambee House warned of countrywide in case the president fails to apologise over the corrupt remarks.

Samuel Oyoma a student from the University of Nairobi says the president made a mistake by calling the youths thieves and appointing 91 year old Moody Awori as the member of Sports,Art and Social Development Fund Board.

Mildred,a youth representative from Kisii, said that the appointment of Moody Awori has led to many youths being left jobless.

Most of the youths who were part of the protest were graduates of respective campuses and have stayed for a couple of months and years searched for jobs but to no avail.
