Police have arrested a suspected child trafficker in Nairobi’s Kayole area.
The woman was taken in today afternoon by police and more than 10 children rescued.
Eyewitnesses told Ghetto radio News that the children had been locked in the woman’s house in Kayole.
They claim that most of the children are not mentally okay.
“Most of the children are of the Somali origin, and they looked like they had been drugged or something because they did not look sane,” said one of the area residents known as Jakababa.
One woman who lost her child more than 10 years ago says that she is hoping that her son s among the children who have been rescued.
The suspect is currently being held at the Soweto Police Station.
