Alaine’s love for Kenya must have been the reason why the melodious songstress has decided to launch her new album-Tens Of Hearts-not in Jamaica-her home country or any other country but in Kenya.
Back in 2014, Alaine wooed Kenyans during her visit when a photo of her enjoying a local cuisine,”Chapati Ndondo” surfaced online not to say how she fell in love with the name “Wafula” thanks to top comedian Daniel Ndambuki popular as Churchill.
When asked why she chose to launch the album in Kenya, this is what she told local journalists;
“I love the people, the scenery, the calm and the serenity- Kenya is my second home.”
On that day,Alaine will meet and greet with her fans then launch the album ‘Ten of Hearts’ before heading a listening session where she is expected to perform most of the tracks in the album one including a reggae cover version of Adelle’s “Hello”.
Additionally Alaine will get a chance to launch her “Wafula” video featuring Churchill.
“Alaine will also use the opportunity to showcase her video collaboration with Churchill on the Song “Wafula,” her rep added.
The event will go down at Privee lounge in Westlands on Saturday, February 27th.
Isn’t this love too much?? Alaine, like Morgan Heritage, should contemplate acquiring a Kenyan Citizenship.
