Former Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore’s wife Wambui Collymore has issued a dress code for the departed CEO’s memorial service slated for today.
Wambui on Wednesday evening asked Jeff to announce to everyone that they should not wear the normal black colour for funerals but instead wear colourful clothes.
“Please don’t wear black. Wear colourful clothes because we are not mourning but celebrating his life,” Wambui told Jeff.
Jeff yesterday hosted Collymore’s close friends on his weekly show JKL.
The five friends, Peter Kenneth, Lamin Manjang of Standard Chartered Bank, Joshuo Oigara CEO KCB, Bharat Thakrar of Scan Group yesterday reminisced their friend in live show moderated by Jeff.
Collymore’s memorial service is scheduled for today at the All Saints Cathedral.
News anchor Jeff Koinange is expected to MC the event.
The service is set to start at exactly 10 am.
It is opened for everyone
Collymore died on Monday of Myeloid Leukemia, a disease he fearlessly battled.
