Waiguru Drops King Kaka Law Suit, “To Go For His Masters”
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has dropped the defamation lawsuit against rapper Kennedy Ombima popularly known as King Kaka.
Waiguru has described Kin Kaka as a confused attention seeking young man who has attempted to use fake DCI summons and fake assassination claims to benefit himself.
“Having watched the antics of #kingkaka in the last couple of days with reports of fake assassination attempts and DCI summons, I recognize that he’s a confused attention seeking young man. I have therefore made the decision not to proceed with the Kingkaka suit,” she said.
Waiguru however says that she will instead go for King Kaka’s masters who according to her are using him to settle political scores.
“It is unfortunate when talented youth are taken advantage of by some politicians and used to settle political scores. As I have chosen in previous occasions of this nature, I will contend with their masters,” she stated.
Waiguru had threatened to sue King Kaka for defamation following the release of his song Wajinga Nyinyi.
In the song King Kaka accused Waiguru of corruption during the NYS scandal.
