After his recent Sh1.4 Billion 5-year contract signing to Tottenham Hotspurs as a defensive midfielder from Southampton, Victor Wanyama turned a year older on June 25th.
The professional footballer and also Harambee Stars captain was treated to a surprise birthday by his family and close friends on his return to the country after his highly-priced move to Tottenham.
After jetting into the country on Saturday night, Wanyama’s family gave him a special birthday treat at a Nairobi hotel, with a cake that was decorated with his new football team, Spurs, colours and logo.
The flashy party as Wanyama celebrated turning 25-years-old after the big money signing came as a double celebration for him and his family and from the photos, it’s clear that the Harambee Stars skipper is more than happy.
He has also shared a photo from the bash on his social media platform with this warm message:
“Last night was fun thanks to my family and friends for the wonderful party. And all of you who wished me happy bday thanks a lot much appreciated”.
We can all imagine how proud and excited his family are with his successful football career, and what a better way to celebrate him. Check him blow out the candles below
