Traders in Nairobi have expressed concern over the influx of Chinese hawkers in the CBD.
The traders say the Chinese presence in different stalls in the city as hawkers is hurting their business following the difference in prices.
They claim that while the Chinese are getting their goods directly from their market at a fair price, they have to use brokers who sell to them the same goods at very expensive prices.
They are now demanding that the government moves swiftly and deal with the sitation.
They are proposing that the Chinese stick to supplying the goods and not hawking.
