The government has Wednesday continued with its nationwide crackdown of unlicensed middle level colleges.
Technical, Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority TIVET launched the crackdown Wednesday morning in Nairobi which saw 4 institutions shut down.
Among them are Summit Institute,Intraglobal institute and Pinnacle institute which are situated in Luthuli,Tom Mboya and Latema streets respectively.
Tuesday the government shut down five institutions East Africa commercial college, Technical Institute college and Regional institute of business management affected.
TIVET director general Kipkirui Langat said that they are closely monitoring the operations of training institutes to ensure that they offer relevant courses to its clients.
The operation comes barely a week after president Uhuru Kenyatta put a halt to the establishment of new universities.
