University lecturers have vowed not to go back to work until the government signs the new 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement signed.
Academic Staff Union Secretary General Constantine Wasonga said that lectures will not be intimidated by the Vice Chancellors to go back to work.
Wasonga issued a warning to Inter-Public Council Consultative Forum that they are ready to take street battles or even through the Supreme Court.
He also urged students to go home until the government signs and implement the CBA.
He added that as a union is ready to face any consequences coming from the strike further asking Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed to take full responsibility.
