President Uhuru Kenyatta has come under sharp criticism from Kenyans on social media after two photos emerged alleging some from of discrimination against the poor by his handlers.
The photos posted on his Facebook page shows him in a very different picture position with school pupils who had paid him a visit at Statehouse.
Though the photos were taken on different days, Kenyans could not help but notice the difference with which the president and his handlers handled the two groups of pupils who come from two completely different backgrounds.
The first picture is of the president and pupils from Pembroke House Of Schools, an international boarding school founded in 1927, was a whites only school but has since become multi cultural school.
The second picture which was posted yesterday is of Titus Ngoyoni Memorial Primary School from Marsabit County which is a public school.
In the first picture the president is seen seated with the Pembroke Pupils with a red carpet gushing underneath their feet.
However with the Marsabit pupils, no chairs at all were offered, neither was a red carpet.
