Ugandans living in Mathare slums have started holding preparations for their annual circumcision ceremony scheduled to take place this month.

Among the preparations being carried out by the Ugandans include busaa preparations and orientation for the young boys set to be circumcised.

Denyala Silaji says most of the young boys set to be circumcised include boys between the age of 17 and 18 years.

He says they are only waiting for the go ahead from Uganda before they set a date for the circumcision ceremony which will happen for almost three days.

Serah Irene who brought his son to the preparations says she hopes that her son will not tremble during the cut and come out of it successfully.

The preparations were being held in Mathare 3C area.
