Ugandan singer stuck in Cote d’Ivore as Uganda bans Passenger Flights
Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo is stranded in Ivory Coast following Uganda’s directive to ban all passenger flights into the country.
As a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of the Corona Virus, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni banned flights of any passenger planes flying into and those leaving Uganda.
“No passenger planes will be allowed to land in Uganda or leave. Only cargo planes and their crew members will be allowed in the country. Meanwhile, those sneezing should keep away from the public. #COVID-19 #M7Address.” Tweeted the president
Eddy Kenzo was at the Masa Fest in Ivory Coast that went down on 16th March 2020.
After the concert, He stayed in the West African country to record a couple of songs with West African artists.
Following the directive by President Museveni, Eddy Kenzo took to social media to ask if he also can’t jet back home.
