K’Ogalo coach, Dylan Kerr, will be forced to go back to the drawing board after his team was held to a barren draw by Esperance, in Machakos yesterday.
It was a game of wasted chances as Meddie Kagere and Jacques Tuyisenge failed to convert clear cut chances.
Speaking after the match, Dylan Kerr could not hide his disappointment. However he was hopeful that his team would pick up the pieces when they travel to North Africa.
Esperance will be happy with the result, despite their lackluster performance. The visitors failed to make anything noteworthy, until the 24th minute, when Yousef Blail’s shot was well received by Gor’s custodian, Haroun Shakava.
The unimpressive Esperance capitalized on K’Ogalo’s shyness in front of goal, and employed time wasting tactics, which were ignored by match officials
Gor Mahia will need to play better when they travel to Tunis if they are to qualify for the next stage.
