Thugs break into Police Post, steal rifles as cops watch Man-U, Barcelona match

Suspected thugs yesterday broke into a Police Post in Nandi County  and stole three rifles and ammunition.

The police oifficers on duty allegedly left the station unmanned to watch a UEFA Champions League match between Manchester United and Barcelona.

The thugs allegedly broke into the post and stole fire arms from the Officer In Charge’s office which also serves as an amoury.

The thugs stole three rifles, with magazines of 20 rounds of ammunition each.

Search and investigations are underway to recover the stolen firearms and nab the suspects.
