Three Riverside attack suspects set free in Nyeri

Three suspects in the 14 Riverside attack probe have been set free by a Nyeri court.

The three,Mr Abdul Kibiringi, Mr James Mwai Mwangi and Ms Habiba Gedi Hunshur were set free after the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit  (ATPU) closed the file saying the three were found with no offences and links to the incident.

On Monday, the ATPU was granted five days to hold the three suspects for further investigations into the January 15 assault by the terror group, that left 21 people dead.
