Sevelyn Kinya aka Seve Gat who recently Photoshopped a trip to China will now get a chance to actually visit that country after Kenyans fundraised for her trip. The fundraising initiative was launched by Nailab CEO Sam Gichuru in an appeal on his Facebook account.
“Do I have any friends in KQ willing to give her a ticket to Hong Kong just $850? . inbox tupange…Guys share and let’s all ask KQ to give her a ticket. Give her an opportunity,” Sam posted on his Facebook page.
Sam later shared that he and his friends had raised enough to send Sevelyn to China later in the year.
“Sevelyn, we have raised enough in cash and kind to send you to China, travel, accommodation (4star), travel insurance and pocket money and probably a visit to the Kenyan embassy in Beijing to meet the Kenyan Ambassador to China (to be confirmed -praying). So, now it’s all up to you.
Sevelyn later acknowledged the good samaritans on her Facebook account.
“Thanks Sam Gidhuru and your friends for helping my dreams turn true,” she wrote.
