Three suspected thugs were lynched during an attempted robbery in Gachie area, Nairobi, on Tuesday.
Police said the suspects, who were on a motorcycle, had tried to steal cash and valuables from a woman when she raised the alarm.
A mob responded and killed the suspects, an officer said, adding investigations were launched. The bodies were taken to City Mortuary.
Meanwhile two men were killed and three others injured by gangsters following a robbery incident that occurred in Nairobi’s Umoja 2 Estate.
One of those killed was 32 year old Geoffrey Munda who was a driver with City Hoppa Bus Services.
Munda found the attackers had broken into an M-Pesa Shop near his house when he returned from work that day.
The second man was leaving for work when he was attacked. The thugs thought he was calling the police when they saw him talking on the phone.
