A suspected thief has been saved from lynching by an angry mob after he was accused of stealing a motorcycle in Nairobi’s Kahawa West Area.
The man is said to have been caught with a motorcycle that was stolen from one of the bodaboda operators in the area.
The angry bodaboda operators then caught him, lit a tyre on him and set him on fire. Police then showed up at the scene and rescued him just after he had started burning.
Just last week another suspected thief was burnt to death by an angry mob in Githurai Kimbo area an area that is deemed as rife for crime.
