Several students at the Jamhuri High School have been injured after an overnight violent clash between the Muslim and the Christian students.
The clash reportedly occurred following an alleged discrimination on basis of religion at the school.
The students alleged that their Muslim counterparts have marked some utilities in the school for their own use and have given directions to their Christian counterparts not to use them.
Some of the utilities include toilets and bathrooms and a section of the dining hall.
The Nairobi county commander Japheth Koome said the police are already investigating the matter as the injured students were rushed to the hospital.
“SECURITY chiefs are currently in a meeting over the reported night fight at Jamhuri High School,” said Koome.
