After a scoreless first stanza, the visitors redoubled their efforts which paid off dearly for the West conference team who currently have 26 points at position 13 with Diguna are two spots above with 31 points.

SHAURI MOYO BLUE STARS 1-0 KAYOLE ASUBUHI

In another match, Shauri Moyo Blue Stars outwitted Kayole Asubuhi 1-0 in a captivating match at the City Stadium as David Bosire found the back of the net in the 48th minute to inspire the Ken Odera charges to the decisive triumph.

As a result the Shauri Moyo outfit now claim the third spot on the log with 39 points as Asubuhi’s stay at the helm of the league table standings was short-lived.

The early risers remain at second with 43 points.

AJAX 3-2 MASA

At Nakeel grounds in Rongai, Ajax FC gathered maximum points of the match after rousing visiting MASA 3-2 in a hotly contested match.

Bedan Kigali claimed a brace as he scored in a span of three minutes, first in the 74th then in the 77th minute adding on to Robert Mwadegu’s 69th minute strike.

Earlier on,  Kevin Liyala had opened the scoring for MASA in the 40th minute with Elvis Ochieng’ netting the second goal for the Makongeni outfit in the 60th minute.

The win improves Ajax point tally to 31 at position 9 as MASA remain 6th with 31 points.
