Sonko vows to continue arresting Deejays

Nairobi County Government is has vowed to continue arresting Deejays playing loud music in city clubs despite the public out-cry.

Officer in charge of city operations Peter Mbaya says they have the mandate together with NEMA to ensure that noise pollution is dealt with according to the law.

Different leaders led by Senator Johnson Sakaja have been pushing Nairobi county askaris and NEMA to stop the arrests to no success.

Meanwhile a section of Dee Jays   led by DJ Bling has blamed Governor Mike Sonko of not taking responsibility to ensure youths employed in the Dee Jay industry are protected.
