The lobby for next deputy governor Nairobi city county is gaining momentum and today, a section of residents held  processions in Ngei Mathare constituency to drum up support  for Taj Mall owner and 2017 senatorial candidate Ramesh Gorasia.

The group wants governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko to nominate Taj Mall owner Ramesh Gorasia saying his business mind will help women and youths in Nairobi be self- dependent.

The group led the procession in Ngei 1 and Ngei 2  close to hours.

This comes only two days after the assembly rejected nomination of Miguna Miguna leaving Sonko with another chance to nominate another name.

There is wide speculation that Sonko is targeting non Jubilee politician who will fight city hall cartels.
