Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has sent on compulsory leave his minister for finance Danvas Makori and chief officer in the same department Ekaya Alumasi.
According to statement disbursed to newsrooms Makori and Ekaya have been accused of leaking information to former officers in the governors’ regime mentioned in 21 billion Kenya shilling scam released recently by KPMG.
Before heading the finance docket Makori was appointed the executive officer for agriculture where he served for five months.
Makori was a former aide to Nairobi first governor Dr. Evans Kidero.
According to the reports from the communication team more big names to be rolled out next week.
