Nairobi West Member of County Assembly is accusing Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s NGO Sonko Rescue team of deliberately littering his ward.

Maurice Gari says on Friday night Sonko Rescue Team workers dumped garbage on Mai mahiu road in his ward in a bid to tarnish his name.

However a section of Sonko Rescue team workers on Sunday told Ghetto Radio News that the dumping of garbage in Nairobi West was a sign of protest over unpaid dues.

They say they have worked for months for the governor’s sponsored NGO without any payments.

Gari has threatened to storm governor Sonkos’ office with his  electorates should the county government of Nairobi fail to act promptly on the mess.

County Executive Committee  Environment refused to respond on the issue.
