Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has warned those grabbing lands belonging to public primary schools saying his administration will not tolerate the vice in the county.
Speaking when launching free early childhood development education Sonko asked head teachers and members of the public to be vigilant with grabbers and report any suspicious acts.
Affected schools are in Dagoreti estate and Eastland parts of Nairobi.
Meanwhile Children in ECDE will now start enjoying the free nursery education from July as the county government is set to pay 3,815 shillings per child to support the program.
According to executive committee member of education Janet Ouko this financial year the county government has allocated 70,000 million shillings for ECDE programs.
Nairobi county has a total of 226 public nursery schools .
