Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko says there is no cause for alarm with him operating in Machakos while he had complained to the government that his life is in danger and no action has been taken.
Through his county communication director Jacob Elkana ,Sonko claim that he has many houses in the country including Malindi,Kilifi,Nairobi and Garissa and he has alll the rights to operate in any of the when discharging his duties.
Sonkos’ advisor Abel Oyieyo has defended his boss saying those oppossed to the move should give the governor ample time to re-collect himself and deliver to Nairobians.
Meanwhile the Nairobi MCAs have condemned the move saying alot that need governors’ personal input will be lost by Nairobians.
The governor is currently at his Mua Hills Home Machakos county claiming his life is danger after his security details were reduced from 26 to five.
