Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has accused his opponents of working with cartels to criticise and tarnish his leadership.
Speaking after meeting former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka Sonko says attacks by the media are being sponspored by those who are bitter with his effort to fights corruption at cityhall.
He says challenges facing Nairobians can not be fixed within the 8 months in office and that he need more time to accomplish his promises to electorates.
Kalonzo on the other hand denied discussing with Sonko any political issues saying it was a normal courtesy call.
Politicians have been going round meeting different leaders after Raila-Uhuru handshake to try to position themselves ahead of 2022 general elections.
