At least six aborted fetuses have been retrieved from the Nairobi River in Korogocho area by a team conducting the Nairobi River Clean up exercise.
Fredrick Okinga Korogocho’s team leader says the most recent case was last week when they collected a set of twins that were aborted and dumped in the river.
Okinga says the twins bodies were discovered on Wednesday.
He says that all the six bodies that they discovered this year were buried at the river bank.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko yesterday condemned the acts directing the closure of companies and hospitals polluting Nairobi River.
