SDA Leadership Angered By Closure Of Church
The Seventh Day Adventist Church has faulted the move by the Nairobi County Commissioner to close down the Nairobi Central SDA Church also known as Maxwel SDA.
Pastor Jeremy Marambi described the closure of the church as the infringement of the rights of the worshipers.
Speaking during a press briefing Pastor Marambi stated that individuals who have been causing mayhem in the church are those that had left the church and formed a splinter group.
Marambi further maintained that they defective faction was the one excommunicated from the church.
The SDA Central Church has been experiencing leadership wrangles that have resulted to the disruption of services since the July 20th.
On Saturday, GSU officers prevented worshipers from entering the church prompting members to conduct their services in the neighbouring St. George’s School.
