Schools will not be closed before the official closing dates in August.
Speaking at a press briefing Anglican Church Archbishop Ole Sapit says that 99% of schools are serious with their studies and therefore teachers should finalize the second term studies as planned emphasizing that students should be responsible in solving their problems.
Sapit also added that on 23rd September there will be a national stakeholder conference on school management which will create a conducive environment for school learning and also office of Chaplaincy for pastoral care will be introduced in secondary schools from third term.
Meanwhile, CORD principals a have asked Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i to resign for failure to come up with solution of calming down the school arson.
