School Closed indefinitely after sewage burst

Muthurwa Primary school was closed indefinitely on Monday after a sewage burst and mixed with clean water within the school premises.

According to a witness, the sewage filled the school rendering learning impossible.

The witness further said that health officers and officials from Nairobi Water and Sewerage company arrived at the school to try and contain the situation.

Managing Director Nairobi Water and Sewerage company Nahashon Muguna has however asked the public to remain calm saying the situation is under control.
