Ruto hits out at people accusing him of abandoning his duties
Deputy President William Ruto has hit out to those criticizing accusing him of failing to fulfill his duties as the Deputy President.
The Deputy President during a meeting with women in business at Karen stated that there is no job the president has given him that he has failed to discharge with distinction.
“There is no job the president of the republic of Kenya has given me and i have failed to deliver… he can confirm there is no assignment the president has given that i have not discharged with distinction,” said Ruto.
Ruto further asked the critics to stop complaining on behalf of the president who has not complained.
“The president who is my boss has not complained, who are you to complain?” posed the DP.
Ruto has also asked those supervising him to stop and instead do the job they were elected to do.
“Your job is not to be my supervisor, go do the job you were elected to do and stop appointing yourself as my supervisor.
Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu yesterday criticised Ruto’s projects saying they were demeaning the youth.
“When he (DP Ruto) was a hustler in university he was not given a ‘mkokoteni’ by President Moi, he was given land, why can’t he give these people land so that they can become like him today,” Ngunjiri said during an interview on Citizen TV.
The DP came under sharp criticism after skipping the national Covid-19 conference on Monday.
