Ruto cheers Harambee Stars

Harambee stars yesterday beat Ethiopia 3-0 for the AFCON qualification match in a parked Kasarani stadium.

Deputy President William Ruto,Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka were among the leaders who were in attendence at the historic match.

The Deputy President promised Harambee Stars 50 million if they qualified for AFCON and the players now await FIFAs’ verdict on suspending Sierra Leone football federation due to government interference.

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko honoured his deal to the players after the win and awarded them the 3 million he had promised.

Kenyan goals were scored by foreign based players led by captain Victor Wanyama,Michael Olunga and Eric Johanna sending cheers from the parked stadium
