Results of 1,200 candidates canceled by KNEC

resultsThe Kenya National Examinations Council has canceled exam results of 1205 candidates due to irregularities.

Last year KNEC witheld results of ten schools  due to suspected irregularities.

Speaking at a press briefing KNEC chair Prof. George Magoha said the ten centers were found to violate the exam rules and conduct

Only one of the ten schools whose results were withheld received its results.

The examination council has given the students penalized a chance to register again for this year’s national exam.

Prof. Magoha has however given a strong warning to schools and students on the issue of exam malpractices.
