Popular Jamaican gospel artist George Nooks was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine in st Andrews Jamaica.

The fifty six year old artist was spotted acting funny and in a suspicious manner when policemen were conducting an operation.

He was approached by the police who checked the bag he was carrying and they found two ounces of cocaine.

George Nooks is known for his rendition of gospel songs like how great thou art and tribal war and God is standing by.
