Real Madrid playing unit had already been fed up by manager Rafael Benitez, Spanish media have reported.
Following a 2-2 draw to Valencia at the weekend in Mestalla, Benitez was axed from his post with Real Madrid President Florentina Perez appointing club legend Zinedine Zidane to take over the record ten-time European champions.
However, it is understood that the Real squad could not withstand the Spaniard as wide reports in Spain capital Madrid, claim that the players ignored Benitez instructions as he attempted to issue a strategic tactic order after Gareth Bale headed home a spectacular effort to grab a short-lived lead before Valencia equalized to condemn Benitez to the chop.
In a televised video doing rounds on social media, Benitez is seeing trying hard to get the player’s attention as they celebrate without him for the former Liverpool and Napoli manager to pull Toni Kroos, Danilo and Lucas Vazquez to the side to give them their orders.
Zidane who succeeds Benitez becomes the 11th coach to serve under Florentino Perez during his two year stint as the president of Los Blancos.
