Mohamed Salah might be soon playing alongside either Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar.
The European powerhouses have been wowed by the Egyptian’s performances, in his first season at Liverpool.
Salah, who cost the Reds a paltry £34.3m from Roma, is well on his way to land a golden boot with a tally of 28 goals so far. As a result of his performances, many fans are now comparing him to Messi.
Salah’s goal stats this season have been astronomical. With a goal every 85 minutes, he is second only to Bayern’s Robert Lewandoski, who scores a goal every 81 minutes.
Salah is also on course for the most Premier League goals in a 38-game season. The current record of 31 is held by former Newcastle ace, Alan Shearer. With 28 goals and 7 matches remaining, he is well on course to beat that record.
The European big three (in terms of financial muscle) are convinced that if they loosen up their purse strings, Liverpool owners, Fenway Sports, might let go of the 25 year old.
With a misfiring Benzema, an aging Suarez and an unfit Bale, we can see why Real and Barcelona would want him. Salah can play either wide or in the middle, and would be a perfect replacement for either three. PSG are not assured that Kylian Mbappe will sign for them in the summer, and hence if they can land Salah, they might be poised for European glory, next season.
