Opposition leader Raila Odinga has paid a visit to Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso who has been admitted in hospital in London.
Raila was accompanied by Kenya’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Manoah Esipisu.

@RailaOdinga accompanied by Kenya’s High Commissioner to the U.K Manoah Esipisu visited Bomet Governor Dr. Joyce Laboso who is recovering at a hospital in London. They wished the Governor a quick recovery,” The ODM Party tweeted.
Laboso had last month communicated that she will be on medical leave. She however did not state what she was ailing from.
Kenyans On Twitter have however gone ham on the governor criticising her for seeking medical attention at an overseas hospital while she would have made hospitals in her county better.
Some further criticised her for building a bridge worth Ksh 6 Million which collapsed instead of channeling the funds to better projects.

“Governor Joyce Laboso went to seek medical attention in London because, to her, going to Longisa Referral Hospital would be suicidal. She governs establishments in which she has no faith,” said @Murimi Mwihaki.
