The county is set to unveil them at the end of this week.
‘‘When governor Sonko promised this we really meant it and we were not joking I can confirm that on Friday we will release the names of the pupils and how entire kitty will be effected.’’ Ouko said.
Meanwhile this year’s bursary will be channeled electronically to school accounts after thorough scrutiny by the county government in a move to curb bursary theft that the governor has adversely blamed a section of MCAs for perpetrating the same.
‘‘This time round we will conduct this process electronically to avoid challenges of theft, and even errors that have been experienced before in the last regime.’’ She stated.
Today Ouko issued bursary forms to MCAs and each ward will receive Ksh. 3.5 miilion shilings .
