President Uhuru Kenyatta has held talks with visiting United States Secretary of State John Kerry on security, regional and international relations.
The meeting was held at State house ahead of a joint briefing by Kerry and his foreign affairs counterpart Amina Muhammed.
In the talks with President Kenyatta, the two also discussed the recent upheaval in South Sudan, as well as developments in Somalia.
Kerry jetted into the country yesterday night and was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
