Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria and his Lang’ata counterpart Nixon Kuria have been teargassed by police for protesting against the arrest of Starehe MP Charles Njagua.
Kuria and Korir had brought supporters to the Kilimani Police Station where Njagua is being held demanding that he be released.
The two MPs claim that Njagua had done nothing wrong in fighting for the rights of Kenyans and his constituents.
Police however heard none of it but instead teargassed them while holding live interviews with journalists.
Speaking at the Kilimani Police Station Kuria promised a revolution following Jaguar’a arrest.
“I think somebody is misadvising this government, don’t see anything different from what Matiang’i said, this issue of people coming here and doing work that can be done by locals is not acceptable in any way. Even Tanzanians last time burnt our chicken in Tanzania is there anyone who was arrested? Why didn’t Magifuli arrest someone?” posed Kuria.
