Police in Meru have confiscated bhang worth Sh10 million and arrested two people in Kirwiro village, North Imenti constituency.

Meru commissioner Wilfred Nyagwanga said it is the biggest haul ever netted in the county.

Last week the officers arrested a suspect with bhang worth Sh5 million.

He said they are going to seal all loopholes and networks to ensure drugs in Meru are wiped out.

Nyangwanga spoke at the scene where the bhang was confiscated.

He said residents should come out and inform police of the drug cartels.
