Petitioners in the presidential case before the Supreme Court Njonjo Mue and Khelef Khalifa now want court to compel Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission for scrutiny of KIEMS kits and voter register used in the October 26th presidential election.

According to lawyer Harun Ndubi the KIEMS have vital information including voters  identified by kits during Oct 26th presidential  elections making it crucial.

Lawyer Julie Soweto, noted that some areas the KIEMS failed making the commission  to use manual register to feel the  forms 34A.

IEBC Lawyer Waweru Gatonye and president Uhuru Kenyattas’  lawyer  Ahmednassir Abdullahi have opposed the request  saying the time limit for  the petition and logistics challenges will not allow the commission to provide the information required by the petitioners.
