The National Parents Association has vowed to support the Competency Based Curriculum recently launched by the Ministry of Education.

The association’s Chairman Nicholas Maiyo says that it will be of more benefits to students as it will put more bolt on nurturing talents unlike the previous  8-4-4 system that dealt mainly on the examination system.

Maiyo says they will also construct sensitization workshops to sensitize parents on the Competence Based Curriculum.

Maiyo says the association will answer all the questions parents have on the curriculum at the workshops.

He further urged teachers to stop the boycott and support the new curriculum in order to give children the best education.

Chairman says that the association is ready to answer all the questions parents have on the curriculum and that it’s the job of all parents to ensure their child has effective education.
