The parents of the eight girls who died in a fire at Moi Girls, Nairobi have been asked to go to Chiromo mortuary for DNA tests.
This will help to identify the bodies most of which police say were badly burned hence poses identification challenges.
Ten other students were hospitalized, two in critical condition, following the fire whose cause is yet to be established.
The autopsy will be done on Tuesday after the parents give the samples today.
According to Education CS Fred Matiang’i, the fire broke out at 2 am.
Two of the girls will stay in the Nairobi Womens Hospital longer.
