The Kenya Paralympics team today matched to State House in demand of their unpaid allowances.

The group that represented Kenya in Morocco last week matched along state House Road in a bid to catch the presdent’s attention in order to push the Ministry of Sports to pay them their allowances as promised.

The paralimpians leader Kennedy Ndungi says the Ministry has only given them Ksh. 7,000 out of the Ksh. 100,000 they are each demanding from the government.

Ndungi further accused sports PS Peter Kaberia of refusing to meet them and only sending his juniors to address the situation.

The Monday protests will include among other teams, the basketball team, the softball team and the Kenya National Kabadi team.
