Over 300 families in Nairobi’s Deep Sea slums are appealing for help after spending two nights in the cold following a fire that gutted their houses on Saturday morning.

The frustrated victims claim no one has visited the area apart from the Kenya Red Cross Society that only collected data and left.

They say they have been going hungry after losing almost all their possessions in the fire.

They are appealing to well wishers to give them humanitarian support in terms of clothes, iron sheets, water and food.
