More than 150 drivers were arrested in Nairobi following a crackdown of faulty vehicles yesterday.
The operation, executed by NTSA, is set to continue today and targets non-compliant public service vehicles.
Motorists with faulty cars will also be taken to court and fined as ordered by IG Joseph Boinnet.
The countrywide crackdown will also target motorists who flout traffic laws, especially matatus.
Police have warned it will be sustained for long to ensure sanity on roads, an operation that is likely to inconvenience many road users.
