The Nyumba chairman Joseph Kaguthi has now called on the Nyumba Kumi cluster chairmen, to come on board and help in the mobilization of Kenyans to register as voters.
Addressing the media today in Nairobi Kaguthi however, warned the chairmen on taking political sides when conducting the exercise.
“We’re recommending that chairpersons and secretaries of Nyumba Kumi clusters existing should provide leadership on voter registration,” he said.
He further asked them to work hand in hand with wananchi to ensure enough security in their respective areas.
“It is not the responsibility of those committees to tell their members who they should or they shouldn’t vote for,” he warned.
