Nyumba Kumi elders to be used to resettle Kijiji fire victims

Victims of Kijiji  fire tragedy in Langata  are  now calling on the government to speed up the construction process  of their houses

The victims want prompt action so that they can again return to to their normal life claiming  Ngei Primary School where they have been camping is not conducive and  is currently vulnerable to communicable disease.

Nyumba kumi elders are reportedly in the process of demarcating the place with the help of national government and Nairobi county government.

National Disaster Management Unit  deputy director Pius Masai who is also the post commander has raised an alarm over inadequate  resources to take care of the families.

According to Masai Nairobi governor Mike mbuvi Sonko has offered contingency funds to run daily activities at the camp but the are mere pledges.
